Outfeed Table
An outfeed table is a necessity for any safe table sawing operations. It allows one to push a work piece all the way through the cut without worry of the piece falling off the edge, or lifting off the saw table.
I use this table for that safety purpose, but I've also used this table for countless other operations - sanding, chisel work, finishing, sanding, etc. This table will continue to serve all those purposes until I can build my dream woodworking bench - Split-Top Roubo Workbench.
Over time, I've modified this bench. It now includes routed out slots to enable free sliding of a miter gauge and crosscut sled. I've also attached a woodworking vise to the side of the table. This sped up and made the cutting of the dovetails for the Hutch project much safer and faster.
